Service Projects

Service above self is the principal of Rotary motto. We will plan and carry out educational, humanitarian, and vocational projects that address the needs of the Clubs community and communities in other countries. Our major fund raising event will continue this year to provide for our local charities and we will also endeavour to raise funding for international charity.

Short term goals

  1. Develop an action plan to achieve the clubs service goals
  2. Design and arrange joint projects with other clubs within the first year
  3. Assess the current state of the clubs service projects using the planning guide for effective Rotary clubs building our success.
    Consider the continuance and enhancement of our previous year’s activity including:
    Life education, Disability awareness, the District Summer camp linking the Canal Boat Scheme. Or major fundraising Beer Festival, supporting locally based prison charities, Sponsorship of Warrington Business award, a citizen award for local business schools, support the shoe box scheme, the wheelchair foundation, two shelter boxes, recycling mobile phones and printer cartridges, support the District Camp.
  4. The service committee meeting a regular basis to ensure that there is regular activity on the provision of providing funding and assistance in activity and support.

Long Term Goals

  1. Ensuring all service projects are needs assessed, planned and implemented and evaluated for now and the future
  2. Setting service goals and reviewing then annually
