Sponsor your own Barrel!
We are currently looking for sponsors to support us for Oktoberfest 11 which will be from 11 to 13 October 2007, at the Parr Hall, Palmyra Square, Warrington. Sponsorship is £80 per barrel, and we will use the internet to advertise the Festival and promote our sponsors. Over the last ten years we have raised around £95,000 for charities, through the support of local companies like yourselves.
In return for your sponsorship, we invite you plus a guest, to join us on Thursday afternoon before opening to the public, to meet representatives of our chosen charities, and sample as many of the beers as you wish, before we start charging at 5.3Opm. We also provide 10 complimentary entry tickets for use by sponsors, their colleagues or friends, so you only need to buy beer tokens.
The name of each sponsor is shown in our brochure, and any advertising material that sponsors want to put in the Parr Hall will be accommodated (within reasonable limits). In addition, the name of each sponsor will be shown on the front of a barrel of beer or cider, or alongside a speciality bottled beer. We can also add a link to your website from our beer festival pages. If you have a particular beer that you would-like to sponsor, subject to sufficient notice and availability, we will use our best endeavours to get a barrel, and add your name to that beer. However, we cannot accommodate lagers, because of the extra equipment and space needed for each keg in the form of gas canisters and coolers.
We can offer sponsorship to many companies, and if you know of another individual or organisation that may wish to help with this large charity event please contact the club via email or post.
2007 Charities
In 2007, our charities will include the local charities: Families United, Sea Cadets, Warrington Youth Orchestra, Walton Lea Employment Project, Life Education, Butterflies and two international Rotary supported charities: The Jaipur Limb Project and Life Straws.
