Warrington Schools Concert Band

President's Charity for 2008
From its formation in October 1987 with just 17 musicians at its first rehearsal, Warrington Schools’ Concert Band has developed into an organisation that has a reputation for presenting challenging but enjoyable music from the modern symphonic band repertoire to its members and audiences alike. It provides an opportunity for young musicians from schools in Warrington and the surrounding districts to develop as individual musicians whilst concentrating on adventurous compositions.

Warrington Schools' Concert Band rehearses every Friday evening during term-time at the Thomas Boteler High School, Latchford. The Band requires a sight reading ability of at approximately grade 5 standard and rehearses from 7.00 to 9.30 p.m. All young musicians are welcome. For further information call 0161 775 8705.
