Despite the recession, our supporters didn't let us down and Oktoberfest 13 was a great success!
Numbers were down on Saturday night due to competition from Halloween and family commitments, but we still managed to make around £15,000 which will be donated to good causes over the next few months, many in the Warrington area.

Huge thanks are due to our sponsors, all the helper volunteers and the Parr Hall staff who worked very hard to make this event a success. Provisional dates for Oktoberfest 14 are 21st to 23rd October.
If you would like to sponsor a barrel next year, the deal will be similar, and you can contact us to get on the list.We are currently looking for local businesses and individuals to sponsor a barrel and help make next year's festival and even bigger success!

Warrington Rotary club has members aged from 40s to 50s, men and women.
We meet on a Monday evening for a meal and a chat, sometimes with a speaker, on anything from local history to strange animals found in rubbish to stroke awareness. We have social events as well as fund raising activities.
Every year, our main fund raiser is a very successful Beer Festival, helped by families and friends, lots of work, but rewarding, especially when the charities tell us about the projects our profits support.
